The role
As a warehouse operative, you make sure building materials are ready at the right time and in the right place. You help customers collecting materials, including loading their orders and providing expert advice. You work both indoors and outdoors as part of a regular team.
What you’ll do
- Welcome customers on site and help load materials.
- Unload supplier trucks and check incoming goods for quantity and quality.
- Pick building materials against delivery notes and prepare orders for customers or drivers.
- Keep the warehouse and outdoor yard tidy, safe and organised.
- Operate a forklift to move heavy materials safely.
What you’ll bring
