Work in a production warehouse in Medemblik, handling incoming goods, supplying production and preparing orders for dispatch. 40 hours per week, a temporary contract and a monthly salary of €2,646–€2,918.
The role
As a warehouse logistics worker at our client company in Medemblik, Noord-Holland, you support the flow of goods in a production environment. You receive and inspect deliveries, record stock movements in the ERP system, store goods and supply production departments. You also prepare dispatch orders and keep the warehouse organized.
Your tasks
- Receive goods, carry out incoming inspections and report discrepancies.
- Record, move and write off goods accurately in the ERP system.
- Code and store goods in the warehouse.
- Pick orders and issue goods to production departments.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Move returned goods and other goods internally to the correct location.
- Check picked orders and prepare them for dispatch.
- Check stock against count sheets.
- Keep the warehouse orderly.
Working hours
The role is 40 hours per week. You must be willing to work a two-shift schedule. Production needs can vary, so the schedule may change. Possible working hours are day shift (07:30–16:30), early shift (06:00–14:30) and late shift (14:30–23:00). A shifted schedule of 12:15–21:00 may also apply.
What you bring
- Valid forklift and reach truck certificates, with demonstrated reach truck driving skills.
- Proven warehouse experience and experience with logistics processes in a production environment.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of safety, environmental, occupational health and quality requirements.
- Willingness to work a two-shift schedule.
- Good spoken and written Dutch.
- A flexible, practical and accurate approach, with the ability to switch between tasks and maintain an overview.
