Warehouse logistics work in Maastricht: inspect and process goods, prepare assembly parts and pack orders for dispatch. The role is 39 hours a week over five days.
The role
At our client company’s warehouse in Maastricht, you will help keep goods moving smoothly. You will inspect incoming goods, sort them and enter them into the inventory records. Using bills of materials, you will prepare parts and components for assembly. You will carefully pack products coming from assembly for dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Register and check incoming and outgoing goods.
- Prepare parts and components for the assembly team.
- Pack sales orders and prepare them for dispatch.
- Pack and process returns to suppliers.
- Liaise with carriers operating domestically and abroad, and assist drivers with loading and unloading.
- Process incoming and outgoing orders in the MS Dynamics NAV ERP system.
- Carry out related administrative tasks and keep the warehouse organised and clean.
Working hours
- 39 hours per week over five days; part-time work is not available.
- Specific daily start and finish times are not stated.
What you bring
- A work-and-thinking level corresponding to MBO, the Dutch intermediate vocational education level.
- Extensive, relevant experience in a logistics environment.
- A valid category B driving licence and a forklift certificate are an advantage.
- Good spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Availability five days per week for a 39-hour working week.
- An independent, flexible, reliable and driven approach, with care in following procedures.
- An enthusiastic, proactive and energetic team player.
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel, and MS Dynamics NAV is an advantage.
