The role
At our client company in Zoeterwoude, you will handle incoming and outgoing goods in a freezer warehouse. You will coordinate with colleagues and supervisors to keep dispatch work running smoothly.
Your work
- Unload incoming goods from trailers and containers using an electric pallet truck.
- Check temperatures with an infrared thermometer, verify quantities and any damage on each pallet, and record stock in the system.
- Partly unstack and restack boxes when needed to make pallets the correct size. This is physical work.
- Prepare outgoing goods against shipping orders, checking quantities, pallet arrangement, height and maximum weight. Apply labels and ensure each pallet is complete and stable.
- Load pallets into trailers or containers using the electric pallet truck. Make a final check of quantities and stability, and agree the loading order with the driver.
Schedule and offer
- Day shift, 40 hours per week.
- Temporary 7-month contract, including a 1-month probation period; a 12-month extension is possible if performance is good.
- Gross monthly salary of €2,650–€2,850 for full-time work, depending on knowledge and experience.
What you bring
- You speak Dutch or English.
- You are responsible and committed in your work.
- Experience in a logistics role is an advantage.
- A forklift certificate is an advantage.
- You are prepared to work in a chilled environment.
