The role
At our client company in Reusel, you will work in a warehouse handling incoming and outgoing goods. You will help process goods and orders so that the required products are available at the agreed time. You receive instructions via a PDA and coordinate with the logistics manager when needed.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods using a forklift.
- Record incoming goods on a PDA and check their quality and quantities.
- Pick orders using a reach truck, both in batches and as individual items.
- Prepare orders and materials for dispatch and add the correct transport documents.
- Carry out stock checks.
- Occasionally drive a van to suppliers and customers in the nearby area.
Working hours
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week.
What you bring
- Valid forklift and reach-truck certificates. If you are missing one, you must be willing to obtain it in the short term.
- A category B driving licence.
- Familiarity with a WMS and scanner.
- An independent, engaged and punctual approach to work.
- The ability to handle ad hoc tasks and drive responsibly.
- Logistics training at MBO level and several years of experience in a similar role are an advantage, but not decisive. Practical understanding of logistics processes and a hands-on attitude are more important.
