Full-time warehouse role in Heerlen: receive and check goods, process orders, manage stock and supply production lines. The rotating six-week schedule includes four weeks on day shift, one on early shift and one on late shift.
The role
As a warehouse logistics employee in Heerlen, Limburg, you’ll support the full warehouse process, from goods-in to dispatch. You’ll check incoming goods, process orders carefully, keep stock at the right levels and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse. You’ll work with other departments and suggest ways to make processes more efficient.
- Receive, inspect and store incoming goods.
- Process, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Manage inventory and supply production lines.
- Move goods between warehouses and internal departments.
- Process transport and customs documentation.
- Communicate with logistics service providers at home and abroad.
- Maintain cleanliness, order and safety in the warehouse.
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
Schedule
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week with a rotating three-shift schedule. Across each six-week cycle, you work four weeks on day shift, one week on early shift and one week on late shift.
What you bring
- MBO-level working and thinking ability; a logistics qualification is an advantage.
- Experience with logistics, inventory management and administrative processes.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Full-time availability and willingness to work the rotating schedule.
- A forklift and/or reach truck certificate is an advantage.
- A good command of Dutch and English; German is an advantage.
- A structured approach, initiative and the ability to keep an overview, even when work gets busy. You’re physically fit and practical.
- Accuracy, a service-oriented approach, resilience under pressure and flexibility. You’re proactive, hands-on and comfortable working in a team.
