Join a customer company's warehouse in Haarlem for 32 hours a week. Replenish stock, pick online orders and assist customers collecting them. Work a changing pattern of early, daytime and evening shifts, including weekends.
The role
We are looking for a warehouse logistics assistant for a customer company in Haarlem. You will replenish the store, pick online orders, help customers who come to collect their purchases and direct questions to the appropriate department.
You will use an electric pallet truck and a scanner. The work is physically demanding and involves spending much of the day on your feet. During busy periods, you will handle several tasks at once. You will work independently and accurately as part of a team.
Working hours
This temporary position is 32 hours per week across five working days. You will work a changing pattern of early, daytime and evening shifts, including evening and weekend work, though not every weekend. Shifts may start as early as 05:00 and as late as 00:00.
Your schedule is confirmed four weeks in advance and takes your availability and contracted hours into account. You may block one full day and one weekday half-day when you are unavailable.
What you’ll bring
- You are at least 18 years old and able to carry out physically demanding work.
- You are available for 32 hours per week over five days, including early, daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
- You are tidy and organised, pay attention to detail and can manage several tasks at once when work is busy.
- You work independently and carefully, are interested in home furnishings and are willing to learn. Previous experience is not essential.
What is offered
- A temporary contract for 32 hours per week.
- All-in hourly pay from €17.74, depending on your knowledge and experience. It includes a 13th-month payment and 8% holiday pay. These are normally paid in December and May; monthly payment is also an option.
