The role
At our client company in Wijchen, Gelderland, you will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics processes in the warehouse for outgoing products. You will combine hands-on work with leading a team of around five employees. You will manage, coach, motivate and supervise the team, help maintain a positive team atmosphere and engagement, and address behaviour when needed.
You will proactively resolve bottlenecks affecting processes, deliveries and progress, and optimise the use of people and resources. You will report to the Production Manager and work closely with the Supply Chain and Customer Service departments. You will also be able to apply your experience during the implementation of a new ERP system.
What you bring
- A completed logistics qualification at LBO+ or MBO level, or equivalent.
- An affinity for technology.
- At least two years of experience in a comparable role.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- A customer-focused, solution-oriented approach, with flexibility and initiative.
- Computer literacy; knowledge of and experience with an ERP package are an advantage.
- An engaged, driven approach and good communication skills.
- Good spoken and written Dutch; English is an advantage.
