As a warehouse employee in 's-Gravendeel, you receive, check and register goods, pick orders, and load and unload trucks. The role is full-time on a Monday-to-Friday day shift.
The role
You will work in the warehouse of a transport company in 's-Gravendeel, South Holland. You will handle goods and work with colleagues to keep warehouse operations running smoothly. Report any discrepancies or damage promptly.
Your tasks
- Load and unload trucks, and store and retrieve goods safely.
- Pick orders and prepare shipments.
- Scan and record incoming and outgoing goods.
- Check cargo, quantities and packaging, and report discrepancies or damage.
- Ensure cargo is loaded correctly and secured.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized.
What you bring
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
- A valid forklift certificate.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of safe loading, unloading and cargo securing.
- An accurate, safety-conscious and practical approach.
- Knowledge of dangerous goods and ADR regulations is an advantage.
Working hours and offer
- Full-time day shift, Monday to Friday.
- A one-year temporary contract, with the prospect of a permanent position.
