Our client company in IJsselstein is seeking a warehouse employee for 32–40 hours per week. You will combine warehouse and stock management with order coordination, customer and supplier contact, parts sales, and team leadership.
The role
At our client company in IJsselstein, you keep the warehouse tidy and safe and make sure parts are prepared promptly and correctly for delivery to customers. You guide a team while also doing hands-on work. The role also covers stock control, purchasing and commercial contacts.
What you’ll do
- Agree purchasing terms with suppliers, coordinate orders and purchase parts in consultation with the head of purchasing.
- Actively sell parts and set the annual revenue target together with colleagues and the director.
- Resolve customers’ technical or commercial issues and represent the organization to customers.
- Use CRM analysis and seasonal trends as input, and record quotations, confirmations and stock information in the CRM system.
- Prepare orders for administrative processing.
- Act as a point of contact for questions about transport, prices, discounts, delivery times and competitor information.
- Manage minimum and maximum stock levels and keep the warehouse tidy and safe.
What you bring
- MBO/HBO work-and-thinking level.
- Affinity with the garden and park sector is an advantage.
- Product knowledge, including how products work and how they are used.
- The ability to communicate with end users and suppliers.
- Experience using a CRM system.
- A good command of English and German is an advantage.
- Experience in a similar environment.
