Manage the warehouse and yard in Halle, prepare materials and equipment, and make regional deliveries by van and trailer. Relevant experience, a BE licence and a driver card are all an advantage.
The role
Our client company is looking for a warehouse employee in Halle. Working with a colleague, you manage the warehouse and outdoor area and help ensure field crews receive the right materials and equipment on time.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare materials and equipment for the crews’ work.
- Maintain equipment by lubricating, cleaning and checking it.
- Record incoming and outgoing goods.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy and organised, and return materials and equipment to their designated places after use.
- Monitor available stock and flag items that are missing or need replenishing.
- Carry out regional transport and delivery runs in a van with a trailer, including runs with a BE trailer.
- Deliver materials and equipment to crews at the right place and on time.
- Set up and remove traffic measures for the work, and carry out transport safely and according to schedule.
What you bring
- Education at LBO/MBO level.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility; a practical approach and accurate, structured and organised working habits.
- Flexibility to work both in the warehouse and on the road.
- Experience in warehouse work, logistics, transport or equipment management is an advantage.
- A licence to tow a trailer, preferably category BE, and a driver card are an advantage.
