Pick, check, pack and label orders for dispatch in Barendrecht. You will help load and unload goods and record them. The full-time day-shift schedule is 39 hours a week.
The role
As a warehouse and dispatch employee at our client company in Barendrecht, you will work with colleagues to ensure outgoing goods are complete, checked and ready for dispatch on time.
- Pick and check orders.
- Pack, label and prepare products for dispatch.
- Help load and unload goods and put them in the correct place.
- Check quantities and product quality, record goods and report discrepancies.
- Follow safety and work instructions and keep the work area and warehouse tidy.
- Suggest practical improvements to your work.
Working hours
This is a full-time role of 39 hours per week on a day shift: Monday to Thursday, 09:15–18:00, and Friday, 09:15–17:00.
What you bring
- VMBO+ level of work and reasoning ability.
- Experience in a warehouse, dispatch or logistics setting is desirable but not essential.
- An eye for quality, safety and a tidy work environment.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Enough basic Dutch to understand instructions and work safely.
- A forklift and/or reach truck certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
