Work in dispatch at a production site in Tegelen: move and inspect goods, operate a forklift, and help load and unload trucks. 40 hours a week on day shifts. A valid forklift certificate and logistics experience are required.
The role
As a shipping and dispatch worker, you will work at a production site in Tegelen (Limburg). You will move finished goods between production, the storage area and trucks, and assist with loading and unloading. You will help ensure goods are placed correctly and handled safely and carefully.
Responsibilities
- Collect, inspect and move goods to the correct location.
- Identify defects in products and packaging, repackage finished goods when needed, and report shortages.
- Record movements of finished goods and monitor their correct placement in the storage area.
- Coordinate the storage-area layout and packaging quality with colleagues and supervisors.
- Support production with transport tasks, carry out daily forklift maintenance and resolve simple faults.
- Load and unload trucks; check loading documents, quantities, product type and colour.
- Prepare appropriate packaging, palletisation and labelling.
Working hours
- Day shift.
- 40 hours per week.
What you bring
- MBO-level vocational work and thinking skills.
- Several years of logistics experience.
- Experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift certificate.
- A careful and tidy approach, with a strong focus on safety.
- Ability to work well with others and plan and organise tasks.
- Knowledge of SAP systems used in logistics is an advantage.
