The role
As a Shipping and Dispatch Assistant, you’ll make sure shipments are complete, properly packed and safely loaded. They travel by truck or container to customers in the Netherlands and abroad.
What you’ll do
- Assemble, check and pack shipments for transport.
- Load and unload trucks and containers, securing the loads.
- Prepare and check freight documents and packing lists.
- Coordinate collection times with planning, production and carriers.
- Keep the dispatch area clean and safe.
What you bring
- You work accurately and keep track of priorities, even when it’s busy.
- You’re willing to do physical work and have a hands-on attitude.
- No specific qualification is required.
- A forklift certificate is an advantage, but not a requirement; training can be provided.
