The role
As a reach truck driver at our client company's distribution centre in Geldermalsen, Gelderland, you make sure goods are stored safely in the right locations and available on time. You load and unload containers, move and store pallets, scan goods and record them in the system. You report and log shortages and discrepancies and prepare goods for order picking and dispatch. When needed, you also help with goods receiving, dispatch or order picking. The work takes place in a chilled environment at around 4 °C; protective workwear is provided.
Schedule
Work 38 hours per week on a rotating schedule from Monday to Saturday. Shifts include day and late work, with one fixed day off each week.
What you'll bring
- Experience as a reach truck driver.
- A valid reach truck certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to speak Dutch or English.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- A Dutch Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is mandatory.
- Accuracy and an eye for safety, quality and cleanliness.
- Flexibility, motivation and a hands-on attitude.
