Lead around 20 employees in outbound logistics in 's-Hertogenbosch. Coordinate customer-order processing, plan work, coach the team and help improve processes and automation. 38 hours per week.
The role
As an outbound logistics team leader, you will lead a team of around 20 employees and ensure that the processes for handling customer orders run smoothly each day. You will plan and allocate work efficiently, proactively manage KPIs, and coach, motivate and develop team members so that targets are met. You will give positive and constructive feedback and support your team's development, while keeping work satisfaction, productivity and quality in balance.
You will work closely with the supply chain manager and fellow team leaders. New automation is being introduced in the logistics operation and integrated with the existing automated system. The aim is to improve delivery times and service quality for customers while increasing internal productivity. After implementation, you will review and improve both existing and new processes.
What you bring
- MBO/HBO educational level.
- Demonstrable experience with LEAN and 5S.
- Leadership experience in a logistics or production environment.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure; you can keep an overview during busy periods and remain approachable to colleagues.
- Confidence in addressing team members and giving positive and constructive feedback.
- Decisiveness and knowledge of MS Office.
- Good spoken and written command of Dutch and English.
- Experience with SAP EWM and ERP is an advantage.
