The role
Our client company in Heerjansdam is looking for an outbound logistics employee. Working full time from the workshop, you will support the team in coordinating dispatches of technical products and components.
What you will do
- Pick goods from the correct storage location against a packing list or work order.
- Check outbound goods for accuracy and condition, and report any discrepancies.
- Pack goods carefully and apply the correct shipping labels.
- Weigh and measure packed goods and record the details on a pick list.
- Prioritise orders according to urgency so that urgent orders are handled first.
What you bring
- Experience with logistics processes, including receiving, storing and dispatching goods, and experience with technical products or components.
- A forklift certificate is preferred.
- A customer- and service-oriented approach.
- Clear communication with colleagues and the ability to solve problems.
- A proactive approach, initiative and flexibility when circumstances change, urgent orders arise or workloads peak.
