The role
As an order picker at a client company in Turnhout, you will help keep warehouse operations accurate and efficient. You will collect orders in line with established procedures using a hand scanner or voice picking, and process and move goods with an electric pallet truck.
What you'll do
- Pick orders accurately using a hand scanner or voice picking.
- Process and move goods with an electric pallet truck.
- Handle internal transport equipment safely.
- Check and keep track of stock.
- Report discrepancies in quantities or quality.
- Keep the work area clean, safe and organised.
- Work with colleagues and supervisors.
Schedule
You will work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a two-shift schedule.
- Early shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 06:00–14:00; Wednesday, 05:30–14:00.
- Late shift: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 14:00–22:00; Tuesday, 14:00–22:30.
What you bring
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Confidence using an electric pallet truck.
- Knowledge of proper goods handling and logistics equipment.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Accuracy, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good physical and mental fitness, with a focus on safe working.
- Willingness to work a two-shift schedule.
- A good command of Dutch and/or English.
