The role
As an order picker at our client company in Montfoort, Utrecht, you collect orders of fresh and frozen products and prepare them for dispatch. It is a full-time role at MBO level. Exact weekly hours and the shift schedule are not specified.
What you’ll do
- Pick and prepare items, from single units to full pallets.
- Set out items in the picking lane, label them and repack them in boxes.
- Select the right pallet for the customer and transport, and seal pallets.
- Help colleagues pick orders from other product groups.
- Mark orders as ready and scan them in the ERP system; prioritize picking according to route sequence and priorities.
- Move pallets to the dispatch area and keep the work area tidy.
What you’ll bring
- Several years of experience as an order picker or logistics worker.
- Forklift driving experience, or a willingness to obtain a forklift certificate at the client company.
- A team-oriented approach and an eye for safety and quality.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to keep an overview and monitor progress.
- An interest in computers and ERP software.
