The role
At a distribution center in Geldermalsen, Gelderland, you pick orders of potatoes, vegetables and fruit for dispatch. You use an electric pallet truck to move around the warehouse and a handheld scanner to pick orders. You check quantities and quality so that orders are complete, correct and ready on time. The work takes place in a chilled environment at about 4 °C. Protective work clothing is provided.
Main duties
- Pick orders using an electric pallet truck and handheld scanner.
- Check quantities and product quality.
- Handle different types of fresh produce carefully and transfer items to a different type of pallet when needed.
- Spot discrepancies and report them to the appropriate colleague.
- Work with colleagues to ensure orders are complete and ready for dispatch on time.
Schedule and offer
You work 38 hours per week in a changing two-shift system, with day and late shifts. Weekend work is also required.
- One-year fixed-term contract.
- Salary from €2,468 per month, plus a shift allowance.

What you bring
- You are at least 18 years old and at least 165 cm tall, due to the height at which products are picked.
- You can communicate in Dutch or English.
- You are available for both shifts and weekend work.
- You can provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
- You are comfortable with physically active work and pay attention to quality and tidiness.
- You work accurately and independently, and you are motivated and hands-on.
- You work well with colleagues.
