Pick customer orders with a hand scanner and help receive and store fresh produce and dairy. Work follows an alternating two-shift roster from Monday to Saturday, with night and early shifts, in Bunnik.
The role
Using a hand scanner, you pick customer orders and prepare them for dispatch. You’ll work in the warehouse of our client company in Bunnik, Utrecht, handling fresh potatoes, vegetables, fruit and dairy. You’ll learn about the products and become able to work across the department.
You’ll work alongside a colleague and share tasks. As well as order picking, you’ll help receive incoming goods: record them and store them in the right place using FIFO (first in, first out). If you’re interested, internal training can help you take on a wider range of tasks, including work in the vegetable-cutting department.
Shifts and working environment
You’ll work a rotating two-shift schedule from Monday to Saturday. The shifts alternate by week: one week from 18:00 to 03:00, the next from 05:00 to 14:00. The temperature in the warehouse is around 7°C. The role involves a lot of movement, and suitable work clothing is provided.
