Support the logistics behind surgical procedures in Arnhem. This role offers weekday day shifts and 16–20 hours per week. Experience in healthcare or an operating theatre, accuracy, and knowledge of hygiene and sterility standards are important.
The role
At our client company in Arnhem, you will support the logistics processes around surgical procedures. You will help ensure that materials and equipment are ready on time and follow the agreed quality and safety instructions.
You will keep track of different material and goods flows, anticipate incidents, prepare and replenish supplies in the right places inside and outside the operating theatre, place orders and manage (sterile) stock in the storerooms. You will also contribute to maintaining and improving quality.
You will be involved in the full pre-operative process in the operating theatre. With a relevant operating-theatre logistics certificate, you will also support work in the instrument set-up room.
Schedule and offer
- Day shifts from Monday to Friday; the site is closed at weekends and on public holidays.
- 16–20 hours per week.
- One-year fixed-term contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract.
- Salary of €2,867–€4,346 per month based on a 40-hour week; the level depends on knowledge, education and work experience.
What you bring
- At least MBO+ work-and-thinking level.
- Training as an operating-theatre logistics assistant or in a central sterilisation department (CSA) is preferred, as is willingness to complete the operating-theatre logistics course.
- At least two years' experience in a logistics role in healthcare or in an operating theatre.
- Basic knowledge of sterility standards, hygiene, infection prevention and medical technology.
- Knowledge of medical instruments and the sterilisation process is an advantage.
- Dutch language skills, spoken and written.
- You enjoy working with colleagues, are resilient under pressure, proactive, physically fit and results-oriented. You work accurately and keep an overview of the logistics process.
