Mid-Level Warehouse and Yard Operative in Gorinchem

As a warehouse and yard operative, you will keep the site safe and organized, manage stock, and make sure project materials are ready on time. Logistics experience and a forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain one, are required.

The role

As a mid-level warehouse and yard operative with our client company in Gorinchem, South Holland, you keep the warehouse and outdoor area tidy, safe and well organized. You monitor stock and make sure colleagues receive the right materials on time. You coordinate with colleagues in project delivery and work preparation. You look for practical improvements to storage, routes around the site and working methods, and help put them into practice. You also take on small facilities tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods.
• Pick, prepare and dispatch materials for projects.
• Manage stock and maintain safe, organized storage.
• Load and unload goods.
• Identify shortages and submit orders.

What you bring

• 3–10 years of experience, consistent with a mid-level role.
• Logistics experience; experience in construction or infrastructure is an advantage.
• A forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• A proactive, independent approach and willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
• Clear communication, a collaborative attitude and practical skills.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to take on small facilities tasks.
• Attention to order, safety and cleanliness.

What is offered

• A one-year fixed-term contract; if the collaboration works well for both sides, a permanent contract may follow.
