The role
Our client company is looking for a logistics worker for its department in Zoeterwoude. You will support the hands-on supervisor and lead a team of four full-time employees unloading containers. The role combines coordination with practical work on the floor.
You will record product details, including the type of meat, and check and weigh products, correctly accounting for packaging tare. You will maintain the quality and accuracy of the weighing process, coordinate work on the floor and make adjustments where needed. When there are no containers to unload, you will help other departments with packing and unpacking.
Schedule
You will work 40 hours per week on varying shifts. Working times may change and are set at short notice.
What you bring
- Proven leadership experience in a logistics or production environment
- Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage
- A precise and accurate approach to work
- Flexibility to work varying shifts scheduled at short notice
- A valid EPT certificate
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain an overview in a dynamic work environment
