Handle incoming goods, technical stock control, forklift work and supplier collections by pickup and trailer. You support project teams, prepare orders for dispatch and organise varied tasks. 40 hours a week in Numansdorp.
The role
As a logistics worker in technical inventory management, you keep track of parts and machines across several locations. You factor ongoing projects and longer-term planning into stock management so that required parts are available. You are an important link for colleagues in a technical environment.
You receive, check and register incoming goods, then put them in the correct storage location. You help unload goods using a forklift and collect items from suppliers in a pickup with a trailer. You monitor incoming deliveries and expected delivery dates, and contact suppliers if a delivery may be delayed.
You carefully pack products, check orders before dispatch and prepare the packing slip. You keep colleagues and sales staff updated on current stock and contribute to planning orders. You plan and prioritise your work independently, adapting when unexpected tasks come up.
Hours and schedule
The role is 40 hours per week. Specific working hours or a shift pattern are not specified.
