The role
As a logistics worker and order picker at our client company in De Lier, South Holland, you use an electric pallet truck to collect the right products in the right quantities. You stack them on the correct type of pallet and add labels or cards. You also keep the logistics area tidy and help drivers load and unload trucks.
Work and shifts
The operation runs seven days a week on varying shifts, including weekends. Flexibility with working hours is required. Extra support is needed during the season, from March to November.
What you bring
- Experience as an order picker.
- Flexibility to work different shifts.
- Good command of Dutch and English, as colleagues come from different countries.
- An interest in the fresh produce sector, including fruit and vegetables.
- The physical ability to handle demanding work.
What is offered
This is temporary work. After the season, there may be an opportunity to continue working and move into permanent employment with our client company. A standard base salary is offered, and overtime and hours that qualify for an allowance are paid.
