The role
This logistics position is with a client company in greenhouse horticulture in Wateringen. You prepare plant orders for dispatch and work with the packing department and logistics team to ensure they are ready on time and in good condition. You keep track of several orders at once.
Your tasks
- Check the quality of plants and packaging and make sure every order is complete.
- Wrap the transport trolleys in protective film to guard plants against knocks and cold.
- Check that the correct auction documents are included and stage the trolleys in the right place.
- Register orders for transport and coordinate transport times and order details with the sales team.
- Work with colleagues in the packing department and logistics team.
