In Rotterdam, you load and unload trucks, inspect and record goods, and move components between production and testing areas. Work is Monday to Friday in two shifts between 06:00 and 22:00. Forklift experience and a forklift certificate are required.
The role
As a logistics worker and forklift operator, you will work at our client company in Rotterdam. You will load and unload trucks using a forklift. On receipt and dispatch, you will check delivery notes, carefully inspect the goods and record the information in a computer system.
Working with the assembly teams, you will move components between production halls and testing areas in time to support the workflow. Safe handling and an efficient flow of goods are important.
Working hours
You will work Monday to Friday in a two-shift system with varying shift times between 06:00 and 22:00. Occasional work outside normal hours may be required.
What you bring
- Extensive forklift experience and a forklift certificate.
- VCA Basic Safety and VVL (Safe Movement of Loads).
- Experience with administrative computer systems and a careful, critical eye when inspecting goods.
- Good command of Dutch and a reasonable command of English.
- A team-oriented, flexible, positive and proactive attitude, with strong commitment.
- A safe approach to work and the confidence to remind others to follow safety rules.
