Manage stock, parts, suppliers and dispatch for our client company. Full-time day shift, 07:00–17:00, in Stegeren; a permanent contract may be offered after a successful probationary period and good performance.
The role
At our client company, you will support warehouse logistics and the handling of parts. You will help ensure the right parts are available, stock records are reliable and shipments run smoothly.
Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to improvements in the warehouse layout and the computer system used there.
- Working with the purchasing department to build a supplier network offering quality parts, prompt supply and competitive prices, and maintaining supplier contacts.
- Negotiating purchase prices and documenting agreements.
- Identifying the right parts based on requests from customers, the workshop or management.
- Processing and forwarding delivery notes for dispatch and invoicing.
- Arranging and registering transport and shipments of parts.
- Working closely with the warehouse employee to keep processes efficient and stock well managed.
What you bring
- Experience in warehouse work and a work-and-thinking level comparable to Dutch MBO level 3 or 4.
- A commercial mindset and technical affinity.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to plan and organize work well.
- Clear, professional communication and an accurate approach.
- Leadership skills and confidence in making decisions.
- Cost awareness and an eye for quality and safety.
- A forklift certificate is an advantage, but not required. English and German language skills are also an advantage.
Schedule and offer
Full-time day shift, from 07:00 to 17:00. A permanent contract may be offered after a successful probationary period and good performance. Travel expenses are reimbursed. Team activities are organized throughout the year. Location: Stegeren, Overijssel.
