The role
At our client company in Maastricht, you will work as a logistics operative using an overhead crane. You will move heavy steel plates and coils to the correct storage locations and loading areas. It is a busy environment, with trucks arriving and departing and ships being loaded and unloaded.
Main duties
- Load and unload steel plates and coils using an overhead crane.
- Move materials to the correct storage locations and loading areas.
- Check material quality and record details accurately in the ERP system.
- Pack and bundle materials and add identification labels.
- Carry out minor maintenance on lifting cranes.
- Secure loads on transport units.
- Keep the work area safe, clean and well organised.
Working pattern
This is full-time work in a variable two-shift pattern.
