The role
As a hands-on Logistics Team Leader at our client company in Roosendaal, you lead 25–30 employees per shift. You combine leadership with working alongside the team and make sure orders are processed. Operations run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you must be available for irregular hours on a rotating schedule.
Your responsibilities
- Plan daily activities, allocate work and monitor priorities, order and cleanliness on the shop floor.
- Work with your team to develop employees and improve processes and procedures. Safety is the top priority, and work follows the 5S principle.
- Directly lead a team of assistants, guiding and coaching them.
- Support the selection and onboarding of new employees.
- Lead annual performance reviews, support employees with absence management, and oversee their training and development.
- Administer working hours and team schedules, carry out checks and conduct tours.
- Work with other departments and contribute to improvement projects.
What you bring
- At least MBO-level work and thinking ability (Dutch intermediate vocational level).
- A logistics qualification is preferred.
- Five years of logistics experience.
- Good computer skills and experience with planning and ERP software.
- Leadership ability and a positive, flexible attitude.
- Excellent spoken and written communication in Dutch and English.
- Availability for irregular hours on a rotating schedule.
