The role
As Logistics Team Leader at our client company in Hoogeveen, you lead around 10 employees and work closely with two other team leaders. You coordinate goods receipt, dispatch and material transport so that production, internal departments and customers receive materials on time. During peak periods, you adapt quickly while following standardized working methods.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team each day, focusing on results, quality, lead times, delivery reliability and team development.
- Monitor operational objectives for goods receipt, dispatch and transport.
- Coordinate goods receipt, loading and unloading, and checks of cargo against the accompanying freight documents.
- Ensure the daily transport of materials to factories to supply production, and take overall responsibility for finished-goods storage.
- Maintain the required level of team knowledge and experience, ensure a safe working environment and support audits.

What you bring
- A relevant completed qualification at Dutch MBO level 4 or above.
- Experience in manufacturing; experience in a logistics environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of logistics processes, ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- A coaching and motivating leadership style, with the ability to provide direction.
- A quality-focused approach and strong planning and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
