The role
At our client company in Rieme, you will lead a team of warehouse employees in a dynamic e-commerce and retail operation. You will organize daily work and ensure the department operates efficiently, while monitoring quality and productivity.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate warehouse employees, and guide and train new employees.
- Organize and follow up on the daily plan and ensure efficient departmental operations.
- Monitor quality, productivity and deadlines, and resolve operational issues proactively.
- Identify and implement process improvements and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Support personnel policy and HR processes.
- Report to the supervisor and take over tasks when the supervisor is absent.
What you bring
- Proven experience as a logistics team leader; experience in e-commerce or retail is essential.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and logistics flows, and experience leading teams in an operational setting.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Strong communication and people-management skills.
- An analytical, solution-oriented and hands-on approach.
- Resilience under pressure and flexibility in a changing environment.
- Willingness to work a fixed late shift.
What is offered
- A permanent contract.
- A full-time role of 36.5 hours per week, with an effective working week of 37.5 hours. The additional weekly hour builds up to 6 ADV days per year.
- In addition to statutory leave, 6 ADV days (0.5 day per month) and 3 additional sectoral leave days.
