The role
As Logistics Team Leader, you will provide operational and line management for the logistics team at our client company in Eindhoven, North Brabant. Together, you will ensure efficient, high-quality logistics operations, a smooth flow of goods and customer satisfaction. The role follows a rotating two-shift pattern.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team's daily work in order picking and goods receipt.
- Prepare and monitor staffing plans, task allocation and progress.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions and safety requirements, and develop and guide the safety policy.
- Coordinate operational issues and improvements with internal stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement using LEAN and 5S.
- Coach, support and motivate team members; conduct progress and performance reviews together with the Warehouse Manager.
- Report on performance, deviations and improvement actions; oversee the administrative processing of logistics activities and identify and resolve issues with deliveries and systems.
What you bring
- A completed MBO+ qualification, preferably in logistics, supply chain or a technical field.
- At least three years of leadership experience in a logistics environment.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and team leadership.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain an overview.
- Good communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of warehouse processes.
- The ability to create structure, calm and safety on the work floor.
