Part-time side job for applicants aged 17+, up to 15 hours a week in a distribution centre in Nieuwegein. Monitor stock, resolve discrepancies and improve picking routes and processes. Availability for at least one evening and one weekend day is required.
The role
At our client company’s distribution centre in Nieuwegein, you support day-to-day warehouse logistics. You monitor incoming products, customer orders and stock levels. When the system shows an item as unavailable, you check whether it is due to arrive later or whether the stock record may be incorrect. If the item is genuinely unavailable, you look for a comparable alternative.
You improve picking routes and the order in which pickers collect products, helping orders move efficiently and preventing heavier items from damaging fragile goods. You help use warehouse space efficiently, maintain accurate stock records, resolve day-to-day issues and share knowledge with colleagues. You also contribute to process improvements, such as assessing how new carts could be used or how existing carts could be used more efficiently.
Hours and shifts
This is a part-time side job of up to 15 hours a week. Shifts include early, late and weekend work. You must be available for at least one evening and one weekend day. Most shifts either finish at 2:00 p.m. or run from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; on Sundays, work ends by 2:00 p.m. at the latest. The start time for evening shifts is agreed around your availability.
Availability is sought on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, in both the morning and afternoon.
