Lead the early or late shift in Rieme, managing team leaders and warehouse staff while improving department results, productivity and customer satisfaction.
The role
We are looking for a Supervisor for our client company in Rieme. You will be responsible for either the early or late shift, leading team leaders and warehouse employees. You will work towards the department's objectives and report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Analyze departmental results and propose improvements.
- Improve productivity and efficiency, reduce errors and shorten lead times.
- Improve services and customer satisfaction, including by using customer satisfaction research.
- Hold meetings within and outside the department and act as the point of contact for the internal organization and suppliers on department matters.
- Lead, coach, train and motivate team leaders; support the wider team and train new employees.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement across the network organization.
Working hours
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will work either the early shift (05:48–13:48) or the late shift (14:00–22:00). You must be willing to work overtime when needed, including outside the season.
What you bring
- Working and thinking ability at bachelor's or master's level.
- Demonstrable experience managing large groups.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse management systems.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Decisiveness, problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility and resilience under pressure; availability for an early or late shift and willingness to work overtime when needed.
