The role
As a Logistics Supervisor at our client company in Enschede, Overijssel, you lead team leaders and warehouse employees. You are responsible for achieving the department's objectives and report to the warehouse manager.
Responsibilities
- Analyze department results and drive improvements in productivity and efficiency.
- Develop proposals to improve service and customer satisfaction, reduce errors and shorten lead times.
- Coordinate with colleagues within and outside the department; act as a point of contact for the internal organization and suppliers on department-related matters.
- Lead, coach, train and motivate team leaders and warehouse employees, and train new employees.
- Work continuously to improve logistics processes.
Working hours
This is a full-time position on the evening shift, from 15:00 to 00:00. You are flexible, resilient under pressure and willing to work overtime during the season and, when needed, outside it.
Your profile
- MBO+/HBO-level working and thinking ability, with demonstrable experience leading large groups.
- Good knowledge of logistics processes and a warehouse management system; WMi is preferred.
- Good communication skills, a positive attitude and strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
- Decisive, analytical and able to solve problems.
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of 5S and Lean Six Sigma.
