Lead 10–15 logistics employees in cross-dock distribution in Nieuwleusen. Coordinate loading, unloading and scanning on a two-shift rota covering day and late shifts. Full-time; gross salary €3,034.77–€3,840.02 per month plus an 8.75% shift allowance.
The role
You will work as a logistics shift supervisor at a transport company in Nieuwleusen, Overijssel. In the cross-dock operation, you will lead a team of 10 to 15 logistics employees, including colleagues with different language backgrounds. Together, you are responsible for loading, unloading and scanning inbound and outbound shipments on time. You will usually use an electric pallet truck and a scanner.
Using information about planned loading and unloading, expected workload and any special points, you will prepare a clear work plan. You will monitor progress, keep the operation on schedule, set priorities and step in when bottlenecks arise. You will assign tasks and coordinate loading, unloading, transport runs and sorting flows, helping ensure that trucks depart on time. At the end of each shift, you will hand over key information to the next team.
This is a full-time role in a two-shift system covering day and late shifts.
What you bring
- You are confident using systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
- You speak and write Dutch fluently and have a good command of English.
- Leadership skills in a logistics setting are preferred.
- You are flexible and can set priorities in a busy, fast-changing operation.
- You are willing to take on the role of company emergency response officer (BHV), including a lead role.
What is offered
Depending on your age and experience, the gross salary is €3,034.77 to €3,840.02 per month for full-time work. Pay is made every four weeks. In addition, you receive an 8.75% shift allowance. Pay is based on the collective labour agreement for professional goods transport.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for commutes from 10 km, up to a maximum one-way distance of 25 km. You can also opt into an exchange scheme for an additional contribution towards travel costs.
- At least 220 hours of annual leave on a full-time basis, including ATV working-time reduction hours, in line with the collective agreement. You can purchase four additional leave days above the statutory entitlement per calendar year.
