The role
At a transport company in Zevenaar, Gelderland, you will work as a logistics loading operative in a cross-dock operation. You load trailers according to the schedule and ensure they are ready to leave safely and on time for customers and other locations.
Your responsibilities
- Load trucks and trailers according to the schedule.
- Check consignments for quantities and visible damage.
- Distribute goods safely and position them correctly in trailers.
- Use an electric pallet truck (EPT) and report discrepancies to the team leader.
- Work with goods-handling colleagues, drivers and team leaders, and keep the work area tidy and safe.
What you bring
- Work-and-thinking skills at MBO (Dutch vocational) level.
- Experience loading trailers and/or roll cages.
- Experience using an EPT.
- Availability for 32–40 hours per week and the late shift from 13:00 to 21:30.
- A careful, safety-conscious approach, good teamwork and reliability in keeping agreements.
- A hands-on attitude and an interest in active work.
