The role
As a logistics employee with our client company, you help ensure that production and dispatch have the goods they need on time. You use a warehouse management system (WMS) to monitor stock requirements and pick orders. Depending on the team, you receive, inspect and register goods and store them in the right locations. You also collect and scan items, prepare orders for dispatch, and may inspect finished products before repacking them. Tasks vary depending on your warehouse assignment.
Schedule and offer
The role is based in Rotterdam, South Holland, and involves 40 hours per week in early, late or day shifts. A temporary schedule includes shifts from 10:00 to 19:00 and an early shift ending at 15:00; the start time of that early shift is not specified. After this period, regular hours are 08:00 to 17:00. What you bring
- Working and thinking skills at MBO level.
- Knowledge and experience of logistics processes.
- A forklift or reach-truck certificate, or experience operating this equipment.
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
- Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- The ability to work independently and pick up tasks quickly.
- Residence in the Ridderkerk area.
