The role
As a logistics employee, you will keep the warehouse organised and ensure goods are prepared and dispatched efficiently and on time. You will be the link between incoming goods, production and dispatch. The role is based in 's-Gravenzande, South Holland.
Responsibilities
- Manage the warehouse, receive and check incoming goods, and monitor stock.
- Prepare orders for dispatch in line with the loading plan, pack them, and check item types and quantities.
- Prepare transport documents such as delivery notes, CMR documents and package lists.
- Load and unload goods using a forklift and crane, and coordinate loading and unloading with drivers.
- Contribute ideas for improving logistics processes.
What you bring
- MBO-level work and thinking skills (Dutch vocational education level).
- Experience with logistics processes and inventory control.
- A forklift certificate and a crane certificate, or willingness to obtain both soon.
- Good spoken and written Dutch.
- An independent, organised and accurate approach.
- A responsible, quality-conscious and solution-focused attitude.
- Strong communication skills, a customer-friendly approach, and the ability to work as part of a team; a professional attitude and a positive outlook.
