The role
At our client company in Moordrecht, South Holland, you will take on a varied, hands-on logistics role. You will support the warehouse and facilities team, keep goods moving in an orderly way and respond quickly to changing needs in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Pack goods and prepare them for dispatch or transport.
- Arrange an external carrier.
- Keep the warehouse and buffer areas for incoming and outgoing goods organised.
- Check incoming goods for accuracy.
- Prepare parcels and postal items larger than an envelope for dispatch.
- Manage the vehicle fleet, including inspections and maintenance.
- Provide cover for warehouse management or forklift duties during colleagues' absences, and support the facilities team.
What you bring
- Skills and working level equivalent to at least intermediate vocational education (MBO).
- Relevant work experience and basic knowledge of materials used in the relevant sector.
- A hands-on approach, accuracy, resilience under pressure, a results-focused attitude, flexibility and a collaborative mindset.
- An interest in computers; experience with different software applications is an advantage.
- A forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one.
