You will supply production departments in Almere with materials, tools and parts on time. You will pick orders, check deliveries and carry out logistics and lifting tasks.
The role
As a logistics employee, you will make sure production departments receive materials, tools and parts on time. Your work helps keep production downtime to a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Pick materials and parts according to work orders.
- Supply production areas with materials and parts.
- Check picking lists and confirm that the correct materials and parts have been delivered.
- Carry out simple assembly and installation work.
- Make minor repairs needed as a result of transport activities.
- Operate the overhead crane indoors and outdoors.
- Inspect lifting equipment.
- Assess the weight and centre of gravity of items to be lifted, and assess the lifting equipment.
- Coordinate lifting work carried out by external parties.
What you bring
- An MBO level 2–3 qualification in logistics.
- Competence in forklift operation and safe lifting.
- Knowledge of lifting equipment.
- Rigger training.
- Basic Safety VCA (Basisveiligheid VCA).
- A reasonable command of spoken and written Dutch.
