The role
Our client company in Kaag is looking for a logistics employee for its construction department. You will support the production process by keeping materials moving to the right places and ensuring an organized flow of goods. Alongside your day-to-day duties, you will help identify improvements and opportunities for further automation.
What you’ll do
- Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming goods.
- Check materials and components for quality, completeness, and usability, and follow up on discrepancies or rejected items.
- Distribute goods efficiently across storage locations and work areas.
- Coordinate with suppliers, production planning, shop-floor team leads, after-sales colleagues, and other colleagues on schedules, progress, and goods flows.
- Assist with packaging, packaging-material stock, and transport arrangements.
- Identify opportunities to improve and help optimize and automate logistics processes.
What you bring
- Work-and-thinking level equivalent to Dutch MBO vocational education.
- Logistics experience in a production or technical environment.
- An interest in automation and digital or logistics systems.
- Experience with MS Office. Experience with a planning system is an advantage.
- Basic spoken and written English.
