The role
You will work in dispatch in Wijster, Drenthe. You handle the loading of finished products such as meal and fats for animal feed. You visually inspect outgoing loads, fill big bags, take a sample from each load and analyse it according to the prescribed analysis schedule. You also ensure the required consignment documents are available.
- Load meal and fats independently, either in bulk or in big bags, using a terminal tractor.
- Keep accurate records of finished products and work with automated systems.
What you bring
- At least MBO level 2 (Dutch vocational education).
- Knowledge and experience in the dispatch of animal feed.
- At least a category T driving licence; a CE licence is preferred.
- Experience with a truck and semi-trailer is an advantage.
- A forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Willingness to complete internal training.
- Good communication skills, analytical ability, a strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and resilience under pressure. You work well in a team and independently.
- A motivated attitude and no strict 9-to-5 mindset.
- A clean, tidy approach to work and adherence to occupational safety, food safety, HACCP, hygiene and environmental requirements.
