Help keep logistics running smoothly at a care facility by handling linen and laundry, waste, orders and stock, plus practical support. This is a 20-hour-per-week role with day, evening and weekend shifts.
The role
Our client is looking for a logistics assistant at a care facility in Sassenheim. You help keep day-to-day logistics running smoothly and take a welcoming, customer-focused approach towards residents and colleagues.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver residents’ linen and laundry to the linen room and take different waste streams to the designated containers.
- Place orders and keep track of stock.
- Help with internal moves, tidying and clearing, setting up for meetings and events, and other practical tasks.
- The work is varied and involves supporting different areas of the facility.

- You are enthusiastic and customer-friendly, with good verbal communication skills.
- You are physically fit and in good health, helpful and presentable.
- You are available for day, evening and weekend shifts.
What we offer
- 20 hours of work per week.
- A temporary contract with the prospect of extension and the possibility of permanent employment.
- Gross monthly pay of €2,401–€2,896 based on a 36-hour working week. The amount depends on your education, knowledge and experience; the role is in grade FWG 15 under the Dutch collective agreement for nursing and residential care and home care.
- 8% holiday pay, an 8.33% year-end payment and participation in a pension scheme.
