In Rijssen, Overijssel, you will support goods receiving and warehouse processes, coordinating with production, assembly and administration. You will use SAP and a warehouse management system and keep track of changing priorities.
The role
As a logistics assistant at our client company, you will help ensure that warehouse administration and operational processes are well coordinated. You will process incoming goods and support work preparation for forklift operators. You will also help colleagues in production and assembly get the right information and materials on time. You will liaise with different internal departments and respond when priorities change.
Your responsibilities
- Administratively process incoming goods in SAP and the warehouse management system.
- Prepare work for forklift operators and warehouse colleagues.
- Process requests from production, assembly and other departments.
- Support the storage of incoming goods in automated storage systems and the pallet warehouse.
- Identify deviations in logistics processes and resolve them together with colleagues.
- Liaise with internal departments to help keep logistics running smoothly.
What you bring
- MBO-level working and thinking ability.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse or storeroom operations.
- Experience with a warehouse management system.
- Experience with SAP, Outlook and SharePoint is an advantage.
- Accuracy and the ability to keep an overview.
- Clear communication with colleagues from different departments.
- A solution-oriented approach and responsibility for the correct handling of processes.
