The role
At our client company in Aalsmeer, North Holland, plant deliveries arrive every day. You inspect incoming batches, record product and stock data, and support the flow of goods through the logistics process.
Responsibilities
- Receive and register incoming plant deliveries.
- Check quantities, pot sizes, plant types, colours and quality.
- Enter product and stock data in an ERP system.
- Identify and record discrepancies; discuss differences or quality questions with growers, carriers and buyers.
- Support operational planning and help colleagues in other departments when needed.
- Assist with order processing, stock management and internal goods movements.
- Suggest improvements to processes and systems.
What you bring
- An interest in plants, horticulture or floriculture.
- Flexibility, a practical approach and a willingness to get involved in the work.
- Comfort working in a dynamic logistics environment and the ability to switch between tasks.
- An accurate way of working, good oversight and confidence in flagging and discussing discrepancies.
- Experience with computer systems and administrative processes; ERP experience is an advantage.
- A good command of Dutch and the ability to get by in English when needed.
