The role
As a loading, unloading and sorting operative in Rotterdam, you will handle various residual material streams. You will load, unload and sort them using a forklift, and carry out some tasks manually and with machinery. You will work alongside drivers and follow safety procedures. Each day starts with a short briefing with your colleagues.
Hours
40 hours per week. No shift pattern has been specified.
What you bring
- Experience in logistics, recycling or waste processing is an advantage.
- A valid forklift certificate.
- A valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- An accurate approach to work and a strong sense of responsibility.
- A proactive attitude and flexibility.
- A good command of Dutch to communicate with colleagues and drivers.
