Join our client company in Alblasserdam as a junior warehouse operative. You’ll handle orders and goods and help keep the warehouse safe and organized. 32–40 hours per week; full-time pay is €2,500–€3,000 gross per month, depending on experience and development.
The role
Our client company is looking for a junior warehouse operative for its warehouse in Alblasserdam, South Holland. You’ll work with colleagues to support the day-to-day warehouse operation. You enjoy hands-on work, keep track of what needs doing and take responsibility for your tasks.
What you’ll do
- Pick orders and prepare them for dispatch.
- Check orders before they are sent out.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe.
- Help customers and drivers at the counter.
- Receive and unload goods and put them in the correct locations.
- Help unload containers when needed and take on other warehouse tasks.
You notice what needs doing and take initiative. Together with your colleagues, you help leave the warehouse tidy at the end of the day.
Hours
You’ll work 32 to 40 hours per week. There is no evening or weekend work.
What you bring
- You enjoy physically active work and can work independently.
- You have warehouse or logistics experience, or are motivated to learn.
- You have a reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- You can stay organized, take responsibility and show initiative.
